LIGHT CITY BALTIMORE IS BACK

If you missed last year’s first installment of Light City in Baltimore, you’re in luck. It’s back for another year and it’s set to be brighter, bigger, and louder than it’s kickoff year in 2016. Here’s everything you need to know about Light City Baltimore.

ART DISPLAY

Light City Baltimore features the BGE Light Art Walk with more than 50 attractions including illuminated visual artworks such as large-scale installation, projections, interactive technologies, performance and more. Artworks are displayed by local and international artists, ranging from interactive to exploratory.

Light City will feature visual and performance art, with a schedule of show displayed here on the official website. Most of the art installations will have specific locations, but chances are you’ll spot the festival in all areas of the city.

LIVE MUSIC

Light City features a full schedule of free concerts including local, regional, and renowned DJs, bands and musicians across the genre. From hip-hop to rock, dance to EDM, the festival has something to please everyone’s ear.

CONFERENCES

Light City is a spectacular display with an educational message. Changemakers from Baltimore and across the nation will explore the festival’s main question through lectures and conferences: How do we become a more responsible and equitable society?

Light City Baltimore will run from March 31- April 8, 2017.
