A brand new 128 room luxury hotel has been built in Baltimore and has just opened for business. This brand new hotel, The Sagamore Pentry, is a wonderful place to stay. Here is a rundown of all of its many offerings.

Building The Sagamore Pentry

Originally a 103-year-old rec pier that was crumbling and had fallen into disrepair, that space is now occupied by a luxury hotel. The property was purchased for $3.4 million. Building cost $60 million and began in the spring of 2015. It took nearly two years to build The Sagamore Pentry Hotel from the ground up. Initially supposed to be open in 2016, the official opening date of the luxury hotel was pushed back to 2017.

A stay at this Baltimore hotel costs $380 a night in it’s lowest cost room. This price depends on the time of year, however, and it can cost over $500 during different times of the year. Many of the hotel’s other suites can go for thousands of dollars a night. This, however, depends on the room. It also has a number of event and meeting spaces. Its 4,656-square-foot ballroom can cost between $25,000 and $60,000 depending upon the time of the year, package selection, and the number of guests. The ballroom can be used for weddings, celebrations, corporate events, and all sorts of different occasions.

Room Variety

There are seven types of rooms offered at the Sagamore Pentry Hotel, to suit different numbers of guests and different needs. The Superior King Courtyard Guest Room is the least expensive option, at $380 to roughly $500 a night. The various suites have different king or queen sized beds and five different suite options. It does, however, have two suites which cannot be booked online. These are the Governor Harbor Suite and Presidential Harbor Suite. You can take advantage of this hotel while taking part in any one of Baltimore’s famous events.
